Job, the well loved man of his community receives the “First Citizen Award” of Uz. He is a man of high morals, provides employment to many, extremely charitable, a man of faith and a man of honor. But when tragedy hits and his good name is crushed, many turn on him and even his family questions his integrity.
How could this happen? Has he done something wrong? Does he have hidden sin that he is being judged for? Where is God in all of this? The question Job faces along with all of us is…Why do bad things happen to good people?
I know that you can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. Job 42:2
